Hear about the launch
The public TestFlight beta has closed, and no new testers are being added. Leave your email on pulsark.app. Confirm it with the link we send, and you’ll hear first when Pulsark lands on the App Store. If you already have Pulsark from TestFlight, it keeps working until that TestFlight build expires.
Frequently asked questions
- Which devices are supported?
- iPhone with iOS 18 or later, iPad with iPadOS 18 or later, and Mac with macOS 15 Sequoia or later. iPad and Mac run in landscape. iPhone has its own portrait interface with the same engine and the same projects.
- How do I use Pulsark in GarageBand, Logic Pro or AUM?
- Open the Pulsark app once after installing. Then add Pulsark as an Audio Unit instrument in your host. It is listed as “VAAG Fabrikat: Pulsark”. The full app runs inside the host window, with 17 stereo outputs.
- Can I move my songs into a DAW?
- Yes. Export WAV stems, DAWproject and MIDI with the samples. DAWproject is an open format that Bitwig, Studio One, Cubase and Cubasis, among others, open directly.
- Can Pulsark sync with Ableton Live?
- Yes, over Ableton Link. Tempo, phase and start/stop follow the other apps and devices in the same Link session.
- Where are my projects stored?
- Locally on your device, as .pkproj files in Pulsark’s own folder. Samples and recordings are also in the Samples and Recordings folders in the Files app on iPhone and iPad. Use Save as or Export to share loops, songs, stems or projects.
- The microphone is not recording. What do I do?
- Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Pulsark. In the Record view, capture starts only when the signal passes the threshold. Drag the threshold down if your source is quiet, and adjust Mic level if the take is too quiet or too loud.
